Security and Support Services
(30 hours per week, Monday – Friday)
You will work in a team responsible for the use of all control room technology to support the delivery of security services to the University, together with monitoring all control room systems designed and installed to protect the people and property of the University.
Dealing with face-to-face and telephone requests for advice, information or assistance, other tasks will include dealing with customers at the security counter, issuing keys to authorised recipients, dealing with lost and found property, controlling barrier access, and monitoring the radio communication system. The ability to communicate at all levels in a diplomatic and pleasant manner is essential and experience of working in a similar environment would be desirable.
