Leeds based Debt Purchase business require a Business Analyst to join their MI Department.
Main purpose of the role
Support the Reporting and Analysis team in the production and development of management reports and in the analysis of business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Support existing operational reporting (daily/weekly/monthly) both internal and external.
Development of new management information across all business functions;
Specification of requirements
Design and build
Testing and release
Provision of data and analysis to support key business decisions
Collection strategy effectiveness
Champion/Challenge
Resource Planning
Participation in operational project work
Activity forecasting
Collections campaign trialling
Business Unit KPI monitoring
Close collaboration with IT/operations personnel
Ad hoc analysis as required by Directors and Business functions
Expereince
Experience of business analysis work
Dealing with large volumes of data desirable
Skills
Effective Communicator
Good organisational skills
Advanced level Microsoft Excel e.g. standard formulas, VBA desirable
Intermediate level Microsoft Access/SQL e.g. writing database queries
Experience of reporting software e.g. Cognos, Business Objects, Crystal
Report writing experience essential
