Full Description:
*Develop and maintain customer relationships (internal and external), demonstrating a thorough understanding of the business, our marketplace and the issues impacting people and organisational culture
*Provide day-to-day advice and support on a broad range of areas within HR. Ensure customer expectations are managed and met, or exceeded.
*Assist in the development and execution of practical solutions to build, mobilise and evaluate our people
*Provide the business with relevant people information, to allow for effective planning and prioritising
*Assist managers and HR colleagues in delivering messages in a tactful and effective manner
*Participate in team or organisational projects relating to people and/or organisational culture
*Accurately assess employee mood within client group and contribute to/implement imaginative responses and strategies to enhance the working environment
*Share knowledge regarding employment trends and changes in legislation as they impact on our business. Ensure HR activity is conducted in an ethical and legally compliant manner.
*Implement initiatives that strengthen our employer brand and assist the business in achieving employer of choice status
*Promote the HR team at all opportunities (either through day-to-day involvement with customers or during formal presentations) enhancing the team's profile and reputation
*Work as part of the wider HR team to deliver against shared objectives, balance priorities and adapt to a changing environment
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
Previous HR advisory experience
Academic qualifications in HR or related field
A generalist HR experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment
Proven track record of building strong customer relationships and managing stakeholders
Proven track record of delivering customer-focused service and solutions
Proven track record of understanding and applying UK employment law and Practices
Previous experience working for a company recognised as an Employer of Choice or striving to obtain Employer of Choice Status
Excellent IT skills - including Word, Excel & PowerPoint
Ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively.
Ideally some working knowledge of payroll
