We are recruiting for an experienced and organised Purchase Ledger Clerk to work for our well established construction and management consultancy company based in Horsforth near Leeds. With a fantastic team in place already, we require someone who will come in and 'get stuck in!'
The role will essentially include:
Administration:
* Processing high volumes of purchase invoices
* Checking and processing invoices in Excel format
* Chasing overdue invoices which are sent for authorisation
* Processing automatic BAC's payments
* Adhoc cover for all other purchase ledger clerks
* Month end procedures
* Reviewing age credition reports
Telephone/communication:
* Liasing with other members of the team, clients and customers
Education/ Experience requirements:
* Previous Purchase Ledger experience is required
* It literate - Excel knowledge is vital
* Educated to GCSE level - Maths and English grades above C
* Hardworking
* Good telephone manner
* Ability to work on own and as part of a team

* Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30 - 5pm
