Our client a leading Media Communications Agency is looking to recruit an Account Manager.
Based in their lovely city centre offices the successful candidate will have Account Management experience and a keen interest in Media and current affairs.
A brief description of the role is as below:
• Understand the client’s business – structure of the team/business model/systems and processes used
• Manage workload and day to day output of Execs and Administrators to meet all necessary deadlines
• Manage training requirements of Execs and Administrators
• Ensure effective communication with relevant Director(s)
• Deputise for the Account Director, when appropriate
• Plan and buy schedules
• Negotiate effectively with sales houses to ensure the ‘best’ rates are achieved for every client/campaign
• Manage meetings with media owners and clients
• Keep abreast of developments in relevant media
• Manage client’s advertising budgets
• Manage relationships with other agencies clients use, and ensure effective communication
• Put together strategic client presentations
• Organise artwork despatch (where relevant)
• Manage service delivery of other departments, e.g. research and online
• Get POs/written approvals for all activity
