Would you like a rewarding role providing information, advice and guidance to 16-18 year olds to overcome the barriers of employment?
My client is a well-established training provider who are looking to increase their number of E2E Tutors based in their centre in Huddersfield. You will be responsible for delivering a programme designed to improve Personal Development, literacy and numeracy, career prospects and motivation of young people, through group work, structured sessions and other innovative activities.
Duties include:
- Ensuring all learners are provided with relevant information regarding the aims of the programme
- Planning and delivering induction training, working with learners to agree and set realistic targets.
- Leading structured sessions to develop personal skills
- Liaising with placement providers to identify opportunities available; creating new opportunities, and ensuring that placements provide a range of supportive opportunities.
- Carrying out Health and Safety checks in placements to ensure that contracts are in place.
- Responsibility for relevant examination and administration procedures.
The ideal candidate will have experience in working with young people (aged 16+), including those who are disadvantaged, hold or be willing to undertake a basic teaching or training qualification, and have a working knowledge of Personal Development programmes. You must also hold a driving licence and have your own transport.
In return you will be offered a starting salary of £16,000 - £19,200 depending on qualifications and experience), 20 days holiday, and mileage.
