Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Lancashire/Greater Manchester
Salary: £25-£30K per annum
Benefits: Company Pension after a qualifying period
THE COMPANY
An established manufacturer of precision components for Blue Chip Clients within power generation and aerospace sectors
THE ROLE
The successful candidate will be responsible for
Offline CNC Programming of multi axis CNC Machines
Tool and Fixture Design
Solid Modelling
CMM Programming
Liaising with suppliers and customers
Suggesting Continuous improvement/ Lean Manufacturing principals.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of the following
Lean Manufacturing Methodologies
Offline CNC Programming utilising software such as DELCAM/EdgeCAM/AlphaCAM or a similar software package
CMM Programming
CAD software ideally Solid Edge
Microsoft Office
THE PACKAGE
Salary is £25K-£30K dependent on relevant skills and experience and a Company Pension is available after a qualifying period.
