Working within the Retail Banking sector for a large financial organisation based on the outskirts of Leeds. As a Collector your job won\'t be to chase people for money. It will be to contact customers whose accounts have fallen into arrears, get to understand their situation and arrange repayment terms that protect their interests The difference in this role is, it\'s as much about listening as it is about talking.
Life\'s full of ups and downs so it\'s inevitable that some of our customers may have financial difficulties from time to time. But it\'s important that we find a way to solve these small problems before they become big ones. Working with minimum supervision, you\'ll handle both inbound and outbound calls with customers in arrears to negotiate repayment terms that work for both of us. By gaining an understanding of each customer\'s circumstances, you\'ll be able to use your empathy and negotiation skills to find a way forward from potentially complex financial and emotional circumstances.

Candidates require previous collections experience within the financial services sector, you must possess first class telephone skills and have the ability to work in a target driven environment.
