My client is looking for a production engineer to join there expanding team based in LS11.
Ideal candidate will be a proven manufacturing specialist with atleast 3 years experience in a production environment.
Qualified to HNC level in Mechanical/Production Engineering. A background in fast moving volume machine shop environment with a strong continuous improvement attitude is highly desirable.
Essential Skills:
* Ability to work within a team
* Demonstrate good communication skills
* Organising and planning machine shop lay outs
* Understand and improve production levels
* Reduce tooling costs
* Reorganise skills to suit modern engineering practises to create long term benefits in terms of manufacturing efficiency, employee involvement, flexibility and speed of response.
* Application of lean manufacturing
Desired Skills:
* Experience Jobshop/MRP
* Additional languages (Chinese/Arabic/French/Spanish/German)
