You are service and detail orientated, well organised, with a minimum of 2 years experience of working in an administrative or organisational capacity in a customer focused role. Database experience and the ability to fully utilise Windows based software is essential.

Main Objective of the Post
To work as part of the Graduate Programmes Office team in the provision of administrative support to the School’s postgraduate programmes with particular reference to assessment and examinations.
Duties and Responsibilities
To provide secretarial and administrative support across the School's graduate programmes, and offer a professional service to our students, academic staff and collaborative partners. The post-holder will have duties across the range of assessment administration as determined by the Senior Administrator (Assessment) and commensurate with the grade and nature of the post.
In particular the post-holder’s duties will include:
Responsibility for examination paper approval; including liaising with academic staff, subject group administrators and external examiners regarding the production and approval of examination papers and marking schemes.
Responsibility for developing and maintaining tracking documents of examination paper approval.
Exam paper security; copying approved examination papers and preparing examination registers.
Ensuring adequate stocks of examination stationery are available and helping to prepare examination halls prior to examinations.
Circulation of examination papers to overseas collaborative partner institutions and liaison with the same regarding the return of examination scripts and marks.
Responsibility for distributing examination scripts and coursework to School of Management staff for marking.
Assisting with the preparation of samples of coursework and examination scripts for external examiners.
Inputting assessment results on to the University of Bradford’s student record system SAINT.
Assisting the Senior Administrator (Assessment) with the preparation of documentation for Boards of Examiners and Assessment Committee meetings.
Archiving and filing of assessed coursework and examination scripts in line with University policy.
Use of plagiarism software to produce reports at the request of academic members of staff.
Acting as a proactive member of the Graduate Programmes office team; supporting and encouraging other team members and making a positive contribution to team morale.
Undertaking responsibility for specific tasks, which occur from time to time to promote the success of the programmes, and undertaking such other duties, commensurate with the grade and nature of the post, as determined by the Senior Administrator
(Assessment).
