Our client is based in Harrogate and easily accessible by bus and train.
Due to maternity leave and the businesses ongoing success, they are looking to take on a part time person.
Your role is very varied and not your average customer service role. You will deal with clients from start to finish.
This company has a web based shop that supplies to companies and the general public. Each product is bespoke and no 2 orders will be the same.
Your role will involve responding to a web enquiry with a phone call to the client / customer. You will take all the details for the products that the customer requires a quote on. You will then need to approach the suitable suppliers to get a price from them. Once you have worked out delivery charges and your mark up, you will then get back to the client with the quote.
Once the quote has been accepted, you will process the order at your end and place the order with the suppliers. You will follow this process right through to invoicing and deal with any enquiries relating to the clients order and delivery.
This role requires someone who is well organised, on the ball and able to deal with people at all levels. You will need to have an excellent telephone manner and a keen eye for detail.
This is a part time role whereby you will cover 20 hours a week – either over 2.5 days or spread over 5 days (mornings or afternoons).
Initially you will be taken on a contract basis to cover maternity, but the success of the role may determine a permanent job at the end of the contract.
