| My client, a leading law firm in Leeds are looking for 2 collections advisors to join there busy team. Main Purpose of the role: Working as part of a dedicated team, you will administer a legal collections process to ensure that a charging order is obtained against the debtors property and that productivity, financial and turnaround targets and client service levels are achieved. Key responsibilities: You will be dealing with court correspondence and both inbound and outbound telephone calls. You will be expected to negotiate payment in full of outstanding debts, liaising with courts and bailiffs to achieve maximum payment from debtors. Client contact may be required in order to resolve complex queries as our clients aim to secure their debt against an asset. Skills and experience: A minimum of 6 months experience of a collections environment is absolutely necessary. Experience of legal collections and the court system would be a distinct advantage, however training and support will be provided. Key competencies: You will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; be process driven - able to confidently challenge and develop working practises. You will have a keen eye for detail; be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised to achieve demanding client deadlines. You will be target driven, proactive and be an effective team worker.
