THE COMPANY
The company supplies innovative solutions for managing water pipelines all over the world.
Due to workload they have a vacancy for an engineering technician to do site work and testing in Leeds, Bradford and the surrounding area. The successful candidate will be working primarily on the transfer of the companys technology in the water industry.
THE ROLE
Will report to the Water Business Manager.
Will be responsible for day to day engineering tasks that may include:
Flow Loop & Pressure Vessel testing
Computational Modelling and Design
Calculations, Engineering
Will be embedded into Clients teams at various times throughout the projects to understand operational systems and processes.
Responsible for daily activities of Technician(s) under their supervision.
Responsible for third party work (liaising with Test companies, manufacturers, suppliers etc).
Information gathering on Water Distribution Network
Producing operational procedures for site work, in conjunction with the client and other staff
Will lead teams in conducting Leak Location/Fixing work on Water Distribution Network.
Documentation and Report writing including presentations where required.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
An engineering degree or equivalent experience is essential.
Hands on engineering experience is essential, ideally in a field based role.
Experience of working in the Water Industry is an advantage.
A driving licence is essential.
