Main Purpose of Job:
Create, develop and implement best engineering practices, in support of sortation technologies, with regards to corrective and preventative maintenance and compliance with contractual and operational requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
- Working with key suppliers and depot staff, ensure that all requirements for both parties, with regards to preventative maintenance, are completed to the highest levels and within required timescales
- Develop and implement robust spares processes to ensure that all contractual and operational obligations are met
- Monitor and report on the compliance of all technology to contractual and operational requirements, taking remedial and corrective actions when required
- Support the requirements for provision of training and documentation to ensure compliance
- Utilise knowledge and expertise available from TNT Post Holland to ensure completion of all responsibilities
- Support line manager in ensuring suppliers comply with contractual requirements

Experience (type and level ):
Essential
- Proven experience.
- Practical experience of working as a maintenance engineer in an operational environment
- Experience in implementing best engineering practices into an operational environment
- Experience of working directly with suppliers on solutions and improvements for the benefit of your employer
- Experience of engineer related KPI production, analysis and improvement action
Qualifications:
- GCSE/ O Level or equivalent to include English Language and Mathematics
- Educated to A Level/BTEC or equivalent in mechanical/electrical engineering Benefits:
