Full Description:
My clientis a multidisciplinary consultancy. Their work is to improve the built and natural environment from advising on renewable energy solutions to cleaning up contaminated land.
Theyare a global company andtheir clients include multinationals, major corporates, government bodies, financial institutions and manufacturers.
My client require a Geotechnical Engineer withwide experience in design to work on transportation infrastructure, land remediation and coastal engineering projects organising site investigations and carrying out remedial works design. The successful applicant will be strongly motivated willing to develop innovative solutions and be able to apply them in practice. A good appreciation of the environmental and safety issues relating to such projects is essential.

Minimum requirements degree qualified preferably with a Masters Degree in Engineering Geology / Geotechnics with at least 6 months design experience in rock slope stability .

Primarily, you will undertake work in the rail / highway/ coastal and land remediation.

From walkover surveys, investigations and site inspections, you will progress to identify evidence of instability, geological and geotechnical hazards or potential engineering failure in rock slopes, embankments and cuttings.

Fast track site investigations and assessments are vital in this key engineering role.

Your field skills are complimented by analytical and design capability particularly in slope stability, foundation design, retaining structures and earthworks.

With knowledge and experience needed to assist and develop their own economic practical remedial solutions, an exacting eye for detail will also be essential and will lead to the management of schemes.
