| Role Description & Purpose of this role/team: This is an exciting opportunity to join the companies Store Services team who are responsible for the cleaning, maintenance and equipment asset replacement programme for stores. Your role will be to manage a team responsible for the delivery of equipment replacement projects intheir stores ensuring the programme is delivered on time and in budget as well as having direct responsibility for some aspects of equipment replacement. Equipment reliability and availability is crucial to successful trading intheir stores, this role is instrumental to this whilst offering the opportunity to work across many areas of the business as well as with external suppliers and contractors. Role responsibilities:- - Manage a team of equipment assistants - Compile and maintain a 5 strategy of equipment replacement - Streamline and develop best practice and process for programme delivery across all equipment types - Direct responsibility for Bakery, Rotisserie and Food Service Equipment replacement - Work with trading and retail development teams to ensure equipment fit for purpose and correct specification - Work with commercial team to drive best value on equipment costs - Liaise withtheir facilities partner to help drive correct replacement programme decisions - Develop a 'one stop shop' for all equipment replacement - Ability to multi task with experience of handling multiple projects at the same time. - Strong commercial skills and will to drive best value - Demonstrates logical and structured approach to problem solving. - Ability to challenge and drive - Proactively seeks continuous improvement methods and best practice - Good Store focus with emphasis on doing the right thing - Influencing and facilitation skills. - Good communication skills both written and verbal with effective listening skills. - Intermediate level: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Powerpoint, Microsoft Outlook. - Self Motivated, enthusiastic and cheerful.
