We are currently seeking an experienced administrator to join this city centre law firm, you will be working as part of the personal injury team responsible for inputting case information and providing administration support.
Duties will include:-
Extracting and transferring relevant data from new files into the Firm's case management and accounts system.
Liaising with the Finance function for the purpose of obtaining new account numbers for each matter.
Creating paper case file in compliance with Best Practice File Management Guidelines.
Checking key dates in respect of Court procedures & entering on systems.
Allocating file to case handler in accordance with instructions.
Setting appropriate & relevant tasks for file handler.
Producing initial case letters and documents including but not limited to acknowledgement to client, letters to Court and other parties, court documents.
Creating slings in readiness for filing of new files.
Liaising with Court, other representatives, clients and insured, where necessary, to gather further information and to seek extensions of time for service of documents etc.
Ensuring compliance with Firm's inception manual and updating, amending manual as necessary.
To time record all appropriate matters.
Telephoning Court, other parties representatives, clients and insured where necessary to gather further information, seek extensions of time for service of documents etc.

Applicants must have administration experience, excellent data entry skills and a professional telephone manner.
