Our client is a leading firm of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys and is one of the longest established firms in the UK. They are currently seeking a secretary to join their small team based in Leeds City Centre.
They offer a fantastic benefits package including a 34 hour week with an early Friday finish.
The job role is to provide secretarial support to Fee Earners/Partners. This requires good audio typing skills with above average accuracy and attention to detail.
Other functions of this role include general office duties i.e. Faxing, Filing, photocopying. There is also a requirement to learn some administrative duties connected with processing Patents and Trade marks such as completing legal forms, inputting and updating of details onto an in house computer system and the recording of charges.
The ideal candidate should be someone with excellent communication skills and a friendly and outgoing personality. Keen to learn new skills and willing to progress into an administrative assistant rather than just to provide typing support.
Attention to detail and accuracy are of paramount importance as is the ability to work to deadlines. A flexible approach to the working day would be an advantage.
Previous experience working in the Legal industry would be an advantage.
