We are recruiting for temporary cooks to help service our local authority client. You will be required to produce attractive nutritious meals for residents & staff and assist in managing the kitchen to comply fully with current UK food legislation.
Your main duties to include the following: Food preparation, including specialists diets, reporting of breakages or unsafe items, washing up and general cleanliness of the kitchen, monitoring stock levels, ordering of supplies when required, ensure safe storage and rotation of stock, keep daily records, be courteous and helpful to residents, visitors and other members of the team at all times.

The ideal candidate will be qualified to NVQ2 or equivalent or be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role. Due to the nature of these roles a CRB disclosure will be applied for.
