With a brief to support the College’s compliance with Health & Safety legislation, to ensure the safety of college premises, employees, students and members of the public, your remit will encompass assisting in the implementation and operation of safety matters throughout the college, offering guidance and support to all staff and students and providing basic safety training to staff.
Joining a small Occupational Health & Safety team, you should be a keen and self motivated safety professional, with experience in Occupational Safety & Health, backed by a minimum of the NEBOSH Diploma Part 1 qualification or equivalent, plus a willingness to work to full IOSH membership.
With a clean driving licence, you should also demonstrate good interpersonal skills,
and a sound working knowledge of IT systems.
