    This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with HR Administration experience who is looking for a similar position with a new company or someone looking to get into HR. This company is looking for someone to start IMMEDIATELY on a temp-perm basis (please only apply if you are available to start straight away)!

    The role:

    To provide an administrative support service to the Human Resources Manager and an efficient and supportive administrative and advisory service to staff and managers in matters relating to HR management, personnel recruitment and staff development.

    Key responsibilities:

    To manage the administration of the recruitment process from advert placement, contacting candidates and arranging interviews to reference take-up,

    To provide line managers with progress on the recruitment of their personnel,

    To attend and assist managers in conducting interviews in line with company procedure,

    Liaise with specialist recruitment agencies to build and develop strong working relationship, negotiate terms of business under guidance and instruction from the HR Manager,

    To organise information and induction for new staff and to assist managers in the implementation,

    To assist in providing statistics and management information on sickness absence, probation period review meetings, appraisal dates, training attendance,

    To provide general advice and guidance to line managers under the direction of the HR Manager,

    To make recommendations and take action in consultation with the HR Manager to improve any HR policies and procedures,

    To co-ordinate delivery of annual training plan,

    To maintain personnel computerised information system including records on training and sickness absence,

    To keep the manual and computerised individual personnel files confidential and up to date, giving payroll staff appropriate information on starters and leavers,

    To administer holidays of all personnel,

    To assist in the: implementation of the appraisal system, planning and preparation of meetings and the management of the induction process

    To ensure dispatch of up to date contracts of employment and job descriptions,

    To provide minute taking service to Managers for HR issues.

    Who were looking for:

    Our client is looking for someone on a temp-perm basis so please only apply for this position if you are available immediately. Personality wise, you must have a strong and assertive character and a real interest in HR. Ideally you will have a background in HR and again ideally you will be working towards your CIPD qualification or similar. You must also be a strong and experienced administrator.

    Our client:

    Our client are a very successful manufacturing company and the role will be based in their Leeds office just on the outskirts of Leeds.

    Benefits:
