Title: Payroll Team Member
Location: Leeds
Salary: up to £16k

ROLE OVERVIEW
• To guarantee that all hourly paid employees in the designated regions of the company, are paid accurately and on time and in accordance with both statutory legislation and company policy whilst ensuring, that there are no material audit issues and the principles of customer service are maintained
• To build a good relationship with home administrator/receptionist to improve our customer service

THE ROLE
• Enter all data received from allocated homes correctly onto the payroll system ensuring all paperwork is correctly authorised and in line with company policy.
• Respond to payroll queries within one week of receipt
• Ensure that all statutory requirements are met and not compromised.
• Complete all enquiries from third parties including HMRC within one week of receipt
• Provide cover for Payroll Team Members during absence and holidays
• Participate in the company’s ongoing Personal Best programme
• Be involved with other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as specified by the Payroll Team Leader

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• High level of hands on day to day payroll experience
• Sound working knowledge of current PAYE, National Insurance & Statutory Payments regulations.
• Knowledge of computerised payroll applications preferably Northgate’s ResourceLink package and experience of Microsoft Office
