We need well presented, personable and professional candidates for a busy and varied role at our prestigious hotel in Leeds city centre. Ideally you should have some admin and reception experience, but essential is a friendly and professional manner. We can offer a salary of around £12000-14000 with some excellent benefits
We expect our Guest Service Reception staff to work a 40 hour week – 5 Days out of 7
8 Hour shifts 11:00pm – 7am
Operational Duties:
Greet and welcome guests to the hotel
Register guests and take payment for their accommodation
Answer any queries the guest may have on in house facilities and tourist information
Responsible for the security of the keys
Update guest info on computer
Take and confirm reservations
Billing of guests accounts as necessary
Responsible for safety and security of guests in house – fire safety instructions
Responsible for control and balancing of the float at the end of a shift
Give a proper handover to staff coming on duty
Deal with correspondence relating to reservations
Allocate guests with the rooms that meet their requirements
Update the foreign exchange
