We are currently looking for an Analyst to join this thriving team.

The successful candidates role will include-
Developing, implementing and maintaining risk management systems to control the underwriting of applications and the management of established customer accounts.
Specifying information systems to monitor the performance of lending portfolios, strategies and scorecards.
Assisting in designing new credit and behavior scoring strategies and reviewing existing programmes in order to improve the quality of lending and increase the profitability of accounts.
Regularly reporting on the performance of portfolios and risk management systems, highlighting trends and key features.
Undertaking complex, ad hoc investigations into the causes of poor account/system performance.
Providing advice on risk management approaches to other departments and the field.
Carrying out analysis to validate the work of external scoring consultants for accuracy.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in advanced data analysis in a Consumer Lending environment and a proven track record showing a high level of numerate ability. You must be experienced and competent in the use of computer software packages for handling large data files and/or scorecard development such as SAS or SPSS. A degree in mathematics or similar numerate subject is also required. It is essential that you have a strong knowledge of risk assessment techniques and a sound analytical ability/data mining ability. We require that you are proficient in data interpretation, with the ability to work to a high level of detail and accuracy. Excellent problem solving and verbal/written communication skills are also desired.
