| Posted by: Unity Personnel Ltd Title: Borers Location: Sheffield Salary: 22k Benefits: Competitive Package THE COMPANY Global Leaders in large turnkey projects, specialising in the design, manufacture, fabrication and machining of heavy and complex engineering components. THE ROLE One of the largest workshop facilities in Western Europe has successfully secured several large long-term contracts. Now need to employ on a permanent basis :- Table Borers Ram Borers Horizontal Borers EXPERIENCE REQUIRED You must be apprentice trained Have extensive experience of machining heavy engineering components (minimum 20 tonnes) 100 tonnes plus preferred. In addition to machining, your role would involve setting components, tool changes, Self Inspection, etc. Experience using Siemens and Heidenhaim 9 would be advantageous. CNC experience is NOT essential but it may be an advantage. Training will be given to the right candidates. THE PACKAGE Basic salaries are around £22k plus night shift allowance, overtime & three shift payment of £31.11 per week. A company Defined Contribution Pension Scheme. Sickness Scheme Holiday entitlement 20 days floating 3-5 years service - 21 days floating 5years plus - 22 days floating 3 Shifts Hours are as follows - Mornings Mon - Thurs 6am - 1.30am Fri 6am - 1pm Afternoons Mon - Thurs 1.30pm - 9pm Fri 1pm - 7.42pm Nights Mon - Thurs 9pm - 6am HOW TO APPLY Unity Personnel Ltd provides permanent and temporary professional recruitment solutions across a range of industries.
