A government led initiative client who thrives on the development of regional businesses and communities is now looking for an Oracle Financial Applications Specialist. All projects are commercially led with the aims of improving the local economy by investing in businesses and communities benefiting all who live and work in Yorkshire.
As an Oracle Applications Specialist you will assist with full life cycle projects bridging the finance functions with the IT department. Ideally from an accountancy background you will have a thorough understanding of Oracle 11i PA, GL, AP, AR modules whilst having exposure to Business Intelligence (Discoverer, BO, FSG) and Workflow is essential. This is a brand new role within the team and the successful person will interact between finance and IT on a daily basis, getting involved with the transformation and upgrade from Oracle 11 to Oracle 12 within 6-12 months. Experience in purchasing order management, I procurement, I Time and I expense is of distinct advantage. This role would suit someone who was an accountant previously but has developed IT systems experience with above skill set.
