Due to continued growth and success this Regional Contractor, operating throughout the North of England is seeking to appoint a talented Quantity Surveyor to work from their York office. Reporting directly to theRegional Director in a small but growing office you will have the opportunity to oversee your own projects and be recognised and rewardedaccordingly for the successful delivery of these jobs.
With a scope of works including a number of schools projectsand associated government fundedworksin the area, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of new build and refurbishment projects. Duties will include:
- cost and value reconciliations
- sub contract negotiations
- final accounting
- client liaison and site visits The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role working for a Main Contractor however the client is a progressive and open minded organisation willing to consider candidates from Assistant QS level upwards.
Salary Package
The successful candidate will be rewarded with an attractive salary package including car or car allowance, health care and pension scheme. Salary is dependent on experience, with the company prepared to pay up to £40k for the right individual, however for a more junior candidate the opportunity for fast track career progression is exceptional.
