    Senior Analyst

    This is an excellent opportunity to work for one of the premier debt recovery operations in the country, holding leading positions on the panels of most of the high street’s financial institutions.

    The department is a positive and lively environment.

    The Team sits in the Recoveries Department and provides services to both the department and its clients. As a Senior Analyst you will have four analysts reporting to you and in turn, you report into the department’s Finance Manager. You will ensure clients are reported to in line with their expectations and company standards.

    Key responsibilities:
    You will act as a client liaison for both internal and external clients in face-to-face, written and telephone communication. You will use Excel and Access to extract, manipulate and present MI to management and clients, sometimes to tight deadlines.

    The role is challenging and varied, dealing with financial and data driven aspects of the company’s client relationships, with the expectation that this can be communicated successfully to them, often face to face.

    There is also the opportunity to affect the way that the business operates by interpreting the data to the management team.

    Skills and experience:
    You will have experience of the MI environment, have knowledge of relevant software (Excel and Access) and the ability to extract and manipulate data with these and other tools.
    Ideally you will have finance and/or accounting experience, preferably gained within a debt recovery environment or a solicitor’s practice.

    Experience of implementing audit and control methodologies

    You will be a team leader, able to coach and develop staff, taking into account their abilities, workload and aspirations.

    Key competencies:
    You will possess excellent communication skills, able to give clear and unambiguous explanations.

    You will ensure that work is completed on time and to a high standard, encouraging the team to work together and be willing to try new methods to improve the quality of work and service to clients.
