    We need articulate candidates with a strong background in customer services and administration. Ideally we need a candidate who is looking to settle and apply their experience rather climb the ladder and progress. You must be articulate and well spoken as you will be communicating with people of all levels. Successful applicants can expect a salary of £14000 and an excellent benefits package.

    Working as part of a team, you will provide clerical and administrative support to all business teams encompassing Sales, Renewals, Marketing and Accounts to ensure the provision of an efficient and effective service.

    Reporting to the Manager, your duties will include:

    • Handling incoming and outgoing post.

    • Production of quotations, invoices and market reviews on behalf of New Business Sales and Renewal Advisers.

    • Take incoming calls, direct to the correct person and take messages if unavailable.

    • Pass all identified sales enquiries to the Advisers.

    • Processing of cheques and data input to accountancy package.

    • Comply with the firms systems and procedures.

    • Comply at all times with the requirements of the Financial Services and Markets act 2000 and the FSA rules.

    • Maintain professional competence by complying at all times with the training and competence procedures of the firm.

    The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and attributes:

    • Educated to A’ Level standard (Grade C or above) with GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or above).

    • Good keyboard skills including Microsoft Office, e-mail and internet.

    • Able to produce accurate work with attention to detail.

    • A bright, well spoken individual with a pleasant manner and the ability to communicate with a variety of people.

    • Have a strong desire to provide excellent service at all times.

    • Flexible, have a sense of humour and be prepared to work as part of a team.
