| Vacancy posted by: Unity Personnel Ltd who is acting as an employment agency. Title: CNC Turner Location: Rotherham Salary: £23k + Benefits: Generous overtime, Shift allowance and Sick pay. THE COMPANY The company\'s has a world renowned reputation as a manufacturer of high quality oil tools. Prestigious special steel manufacturing, engineering expertise and a commitment to the provision of modern machine tools and manufacturing capabilities, has ensured the reputation for excellence is maintained. THE ROLE The role requires experience with Fanuc and or Fagar controls. Capabilities include editing programs, writing short programs, reading engineering drawings To be able to improve run times with speed and feeds. To achieve a high quality when working to close tolerances. A good engineering back ground with good sound knowledge of manufacturing methods and tooling. To think on their feet and solve any minor problems on the machine. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Experience of threading and working to API spec would be an advantage. Working on parts up to 28 feet long and 12\" diameter. To be familiar with working 4 jaw independent chucks with DTI. Proven apprenticeship and or ONC HNC qualification.
