| Career Opportunity Salary - £17k-£23k (depending on experience and qualification) Committed, flexible people needed to lead our care teams, providing support for physically disabled people living independently, leading exciting and fulfilling lives, either in York or Harrogate at University or in employment in these areas. Work involves: • Care support and accompaniment (Moving and Handling; Bathing; Dressing etc) • Recruitment of staff (Advertising; Interviewing; Contractual meetings etc) • Training staff (Identifying training needs; Staff/Career development etc) • Monitoring and influencing performance • Appraising staff (Formal and informal procedures etc) • Administration of staff (Shift Rota management; Time and Payments sheet management; Reports etc) • Administering physiotherapy • Liaising with specialists and practitioners (GP; Medical Specialists; Certified Trainers; Local Authority representatives etc) • People management This position carries with it further development and promotion opportunities into Project Management; Client Liaison; and Budgetary Control.
