Our client is one of the fastest growing independent insurance brokers in the country; founded in 1968, they have developed a philosophy away from the traditional role of brokers and more towards intensive client. Their clients are mainly privately owned businesses but some are quoted companies.
The main function of the job is to be the first point of contact for this prestigious company as well as dealing with all aspects of administration as detailed below:
• Receive and answer all calls as quickly and courteously as possible
• Greeting and caring for all visitors in a friendly manner
• Ensuring avoidance of E & O claims
• Ensuring all typing is produced accurately and efficiently and spelling/ grammar are correct
• Maintaining the staff signing in/out and visitors book and diary management
• Post in and out
• Data input, faxing, filing, photocopying
This is a very hands on role and as such previous experience is essential. You will require excellent attention to detail with an average typing speed of 60wpm as well as good interpersonal skills and being of smart appearance. Hours of work are 08:30 – 17:00 and is offered on a 13 week temporary to permanent basis.
