    We need a confident and ambitious PR account executive - we offer an excellent benefits package, profit share and certificated training

    Ideally you will have a sound understanding of press release writing, the media and have a related PR, media degree. YOU SHOULD ONLY APPLY IF YOU HAVE A PORTFOLIO OF WORKS TO DEMONSTRATE YOUR UNDERSTANDING OF THE MEDIA WITH EXAMPLES OF PRESS RELEASE WRITING ETC.

    YOU SHOULD ALSO HAVE 6-12 MONTHS PR AGENCY EXPERIENCE

    Duties: Ensure purchase orders are raised for external suppliers. Understand job bags and invoicing procedures and be able to assist Account Manager with invoice preparation. Be aware of client budgets and be able to draft photography and production quotations for client work for the approval of your Account Manager(s). Create job numbers on Concept. Have regular and meaningful client contact, and develop friendly and professional relationships with your clients. As required, support the Account Manager and Account Director with the preparation and presentation of client proposals. Use research tools to help generate ideas, or to support programme activity. Write creative / effective copy for news releases, features etc to meet and exceed client expectations. Work with other Executives on your accounts to ensure media relations programmes are delivered to their full potential. Develop relationships with key journalists relevant to your clients. Write clear and effective briefs for Design, Creative and Production. Be able to provide clear and accurate external briefs (eg to freelance photographers). Be responsible for researching media titles and drawing up target media lists and/or advance feature opportunities for clients (using Mediadisk or any other planning software available). Be responsible for the accurate production of client meeting agendas, call reports and status reports. Monitor news relevant to your clients (via newspapers, trade/consumer publications, broadcast and news databases, eg Factiva, Ananova etc) and advise your team as appropriate
