    Excellent opportunity for a Document Services Administrator to work for a large Leeds based Law Firm on an initial 15 month fixed term contract.

    You will be required to provide a comprehensive post room and reprographics service to the office and to cross train in other aspects of the work of the Business Operations department in order to provide a seamless, cost effective service to clients.

    Duties & Responsibilities:
    § To open, sort and distribute post to all members of the firm. This will include regular internal deliveries and collections from the various departments and support units
    § Check any unreferenced mail against the firm's computerised matter records
    § Arrange for items of mail and packages to be sent by various methods, advising the sender on the most cost effective and safe forms of sending the items
    § Ensure the Finance Department receive accurate and timely data on chargeable deliveries
    § Sort outgoing mail into Royal Mail and DX services. Prepare bulk DX bags and frank outgoing mail
    § Ensure stationery units on all floors remain stocked in accordance with service levels
    § Deal with incoming requests from the Business Operations help desk (Hotline) within agreed timescales and confirm completion with Hotline
    § To answer the telephone and assist visitors on behalf of both the Post and Reprographics teams in a polite, courteous and helpful manner.
    § Photocopying documents as required (black and white, colour, plans, manuals etc.) - paying particular attention to instructions given on covering sheet
    § Binding documents as requested, using appropriate equipment
    § Assisting in the day-to-day maintenance of photocopying and associated equipment (e.g. unblocking paper jams, changing toner etc.)
    § To cross train into other areas of Business Operations work, in order to be part of a fully flexible team. This will include reprographics, archiving and reception.

    The Document Services Assistant will predominately work in Document Services, with a focus on reprographics and the post room.

    The jobholder will also be required to assist the Site Services team carrying out light handyman duties e.g. hanging pictures, fixing locks on doors, and fixing blinds and setting up meeting rooms as required,
