Position: QUALITY, HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGER
Location: Huddersfield
Salary:£30-£40k + 20% performance bonus + pension + health
Our client who is part of a global automotive manufacturer based out of there modern factory in Huddersfield is currently looking for a Quality Manager who can also facilitate the Health & Safety on site.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
To direct and manage the Quality department, including: All internal and customer related issues, internal and external audits, quality systems and procedures
To ensure compliance with the health, safety and environmental, management systems, regulations and associated procedures.
To manage and develop the quality improvement programmes to ensure that targets are rolled out to the work force and are achieved.
To advise the customers of changes that will enhance quality, manufacturing performance and also reduce cost.
To be responsible for communication with the customers/suppliers on matters of a quality nature
To be responsible for compliance with quality systems and procedures: TS16949 - 2002, Customer specific quality systems and general quality assurance methods - SPC, FMEA, trials, testing, audits etc.
To generate procedures and work instructions that meet the requirements of the quality standard, and to update these procedures in line with changes to the latest standards i.e. (TS16949 2002)
To assist the HS&E Co-ordinator in the implementation of the HSE Management System and take an active role in raising the Companys HSE performance.
