A large charitable organisation is looking for a deputy supported housing manager to work on a full time 3 month assigment which could possibly go from temporary to permanent. Duties include:
- To support the Manager in the day to day running of the hostel ensuring compliance with council and Supporting People Contracts
- To lead motivate and develop staff to meet the services objectives
- To monitor income and expenditure, collecting rents and service charges, including Housing Benefit and dealing promptly with non-payment amongst residents
- To be prepared to cover shifts in emergencies and to work a minimum of 1night shift per month to liaise with night staff and to monitor service delivery. To participate in the ’On Call’ arrangements and to respond to emergency call out situations as necessary
