We need candidates with a solid understanding of collections and supervising/performance management of a small team for our small, friendly office in WF1. You should have at least three years supervisory collections experience and successful applicants can expect a basic salary of upto £25000 and performance bonus of £2000 and other benefits.
Collections Team Leader
Responsibilities
To manage the credit control for the Loan Recovery Team, to ensure that agreed targets for collections are set and met by supervising and working with the Loan Team and reporting to the Credit Control Manager.
To maximise collections of the Loan Team ensuring quickest possible returns of the largest amount of cash is collected.
Key Tasks
Allocation of daily workload
Training and Development of staff
Agreeing targets with individual credit controllers
Motivation of staff
Monitoring quality and effectiveness of team members
Reporting of results
Recruitment as and when necessary
Debt Collection
Ensure sufficient staff are available to cover late nights and Saturdays
Ensure staff compliance with policy, both internal and DPA, FSA etc.
To bring forward new ideas to improve current process and implement the same
Deal with disciplinary matters
