    Receptionist/Conference Coordinator required to work for our corporate client in Leeds City Centre. You will be required to provide an efficient and professional service to the company and clients.

    Responsibilities

    ·Welcomes Customers and visitors and announces their arrival.
    ·Continuously monitors the appearance of the Reception area and is responsible for housekeeping for same.
    ·Ensures that Reception is never left unattended.
    ·The Job Holder is responsible for all traffic in the Centre. Visitors may not go to customer offices unannounced. The Receptionist must obtain the identity of anyone unfamiliar who enters the area and make sure he/she has legitimate business there. No salesmen should be allowed access to tenant without an appointment.
    ·The Receptionist co-operates with other Centre Staff to maximise overall efficiency
    ·Professionally handles all bookings for Conference Rooms, audio visual equipment and associated catering requirements
    ·Reports any equipment malfunction to Business Manager/Deputy Centre Manager.
    ·Checks the conference rooms twice daily and continually monitors their appearance to make sure they are clean
    ·Sends out reservation forms and ensures they are returned signed before the booking commences.
    ·Obtains payment before event and chases for payment of the balance immediately after the event/VAT invoice is issued.
    ·Ensures Conference Rooms are cleared as soon as vacated by customers.
    ·Spot checks all client kitchens twice daily.
    ·Liaises with other centres regarding inter-centre bookings.
    ·Liaises with Business Manager regarding any maintenance requirements, to the conference rooms.
    ·Performs special projects on an as requested basis.
    ·Each employee is responsible for knowing the emergency procedures established for the Centre and for situations such as fire, bomb alert, etc.
