Football Administrator / League Co-ordinator
Location: Outskirts of Leeds
Salary: £14k - £18k + bonuses


My client is a very successful organisation that provides sporting event management across Yorkshire. They are an investor in people and have over 25 sites and 1200 employees throughout the UK, All committed and dedicated to the co-ordination and organisation of competitive sporting / soccor events.


ROLE SUMMARY
The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining soccer leagues across the UK, as well as developing new leagues and ideas.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
• You must have a keen interest and understanding of football
• All applicants must be educated to a high standard – ideally a college leaver or equivalent
• Previous experience within administration and customer service required – co-ordinating events would be a big bonus
• Driving licence is essential

SPECIFIC DUTIES
• Liaising with team managers and recording information on team players
• Liaising with referees and onsite co-ordinators to ensure smooth running of event
• Ensuring that equipment (balls, bibs etc) is available for games
• Liaising with Co-ordinator to record results of games
• Updating league tables on website for viewing by teams
• Dealing with any queries and discrepancies from the teams
• Identifying new venues to set up new leagues
• Preparing handbooks for new and existing teams to ensure they are aware of rules and regulations and fixtures
• General office duties including answering telephone enquiries, updating database and website, preparing correspondence, filing, faxing and photocopying

BENIFETS

• Salary range: £ 14,000 - £ 18,000 depending upon experience
• Overtime and commission
• 9.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday with occasional evening work as required at the venues
• 5pm finish on a Friday
• 27-30 days holiday per year – including shut down at Christmas and Bank Holidays
