    Fantastic opportunity for a Bid Manager to work for one of the fastest growing consultancies in the UK. As a result of continual growth another vacancy has arisen to support and manage all company bids.

    The role will include:

    · Preparation, research, production and submission of pre-qualification, proposal and tender documents.
    · Managing the progress of tenders, including maintaining a database of tenders, tracking progress and ensuring inputs are delivered by others in a timely fashion
    · Reviewing and editing text produced by others and copy editing final tender documents to ensure they are complete, well written, of high quality and meet the requirements of the brief, before they are submitted for final Director review and sign-off.
    · Although not client facing, the post holder will need to be able to liaise with internal and external clients to ensure that documents meet requirements.
    · Working in collaboration with others in the Leeds and national marketing/business development team.
    · Some marketing-related inputs may be required, although these will not be a primary element of the role. Examples could include preparation and production of presentations and the production of marketing material.
    · Other bid management and marketing related duties that may arise
    · The appointment will be at Consultant, Senior or possibly higher level, depending on the capabilities and experience of the applicant.

    Technical Skills:

    ·Full proficiency in the use of MS Office applications – Word, Excel and PowerPoint (Advanced level essential).
    ·Desk top publishing skills as well as Corel Draw would be beneficial.
    ·Copy writing skills allowing the ability to collate and edit technical and other material to produce quality outputs

    Qualifications:

    ·Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or other suitable subject area essential.
    ·Experience
    ·Prior experience in a similar role is essential.
    ·Environmental experience would be beneficial.
