Full and part time hours available
We are looking for enthusiastic, caring people to join our friendly team, supporting adults with learning disabilities and additional needs in a small nursing home located in Soothill, Batley.
You will be providing care and support, promoting independence and helping people get the most of life. This will involve a wide range duties including;
Supporting the Health and Wellbeing of the residents, including;
Personal Care and Support
Assisting with household task, such as cooking and cleaning.
Accompanying residents to appointments with Health Care professionals
Supporting residents to take part in social activities, for example;
Taking part in group events like art or music classes
Having a day out at a sensory garden or other attraction
Getting out in the fresh air to enjoy the sunshine
If you can see yourself doing this job, get in touch. You don’t need experience as we’ll provide you with full training and the chance to obtain NVQ qualification, you just need to show respect and understanding for people’s rights and choices and have a genuine desire to make a difference to someone’s life.
We have a number of shift patterns, working either part-time or full time. As this is a residential site there is a need for people to work nights weekends and bank holidays. We understand people have commitments outside of work, and although the needs of the residents must come first, we can discuss shift patterns that fit around your life.
