| We need an experienced telemarketing manager for a busy and varied role at our friendly offices in LS12. We need candidates with a strong background in supervisory sales roles and can offer a competitive basic of £25000-28000 plus a bonus and extensive benefits Telemarketing Manager To manage the telesales and telemarketing functions, proactively developing client potential Management Responsibilities will include: •Day to day control of the tele-activities of the telesales / telemarketing team based at Leeds and any Group home workers. •Manage and maximise every opportunity •Identify, promote and take ownership of joint opportunity creation •Continually investigate new and innovative methods of generating leads and creating opportunities for the team to develop •Create and maintain a suitably dynamic working environment for the team to work within, ensuring staff are focussed and motivated to optimise all potential opportunities •Manage the production and implementation of specific development campaigns •Carefully plan, measure and analyse all telesales / telemarketing activities •Work with line manager / director to use appropriate testing to monitor and analyse the success of lead source material and development campaigns ensuring that learning is fed into the future decision making process •Work with external suppliers and monitor the quality of all aspects of their service •Work closely with colleagues to prepare mailshots and development campaigns etc •Audit, authorise, monitor and process subordinate monthly commission claims ensure accuracy of information and timely submission •Be responsible with the Line Manager for recommending targets for the team regarding - appointments - pre quals - bids/tenders - quoted revenue and sales. •Be responsible for monitoring the performance of individuals and the team in general against agreed targets. •Preparation for Management of effectiveness statistics (KPI's) and other reports as defined. •Negotiate contracts for bought in lead opportunities and investigate/ recommend new / alternative sources. •Arrange and manage training and development programme for all supervised staff, including preparation of Training Matrix and evaluation of appropriate external training opportunities. (this area is still to be agreed by the Divisional Executive) •Conduct annual staff appraisals and report performance progress to Line Manager / Director •Prepare, monitor and maintain stationery and promotional literature in accordance with budgetary costs •Be involved in producing annual forecasts, cost budgets and opportunity analysis. •Be responsible for the overall good communications of supervised staff ensuring harmonious relationships between Divisional personnel. •Be prepared to assist in additional Management functions as appropriate, in exceptional circumstances. •Organise regular Department meetings and be responsible for preparation of agendas and minutes as appropriate. Monitor and ensure progression to completion of agreed action points from such meetings. •Ensure as far as is practicable that supervised staff are working in a comfortable environment and that they promptly report any Health and safety issues including defects to equipment under their control, to their Divisional Management. •Develop good/best practice in every facet of the job/team •Share expertise to support colleagues with their marketing challenges, helping them meet their objectives •Ensure communications fit with overall business strategy and organisational objectives •Keep abreast of industry developments and be aware of innovations that the company could utilise or trends which may have an adverse affect on activities in short or long term •Be actively involved in the recruitment process for new / replacement subordinate staff. •Continually review the structure and performance of the function and make recommendations to improve / alter the structure to meet the ongoing needs of the business Key responsibilities: •Be a catalyst for communications across the Divisions. •Using the lead sources provided, qualify and manage each new lead and decide on route to maximise the potential opportunity. •Monitor progress. Guide individuals within the team towards satisfactory conclusions. Do not permit opportunity to be wilfully missed. Deadlines etc. Track to ensure we continue to pursue the most effective opportunity and involve other Divisions as the need arises. •Ensure the Group protocols within CRM database are maintained and continue to develop/evolve CRM database potential in conjunction with Divisional personnel as appropriate, the GBDM and the Administrator. •Actively pursue opportunities identified or Targeted by the GSF / GBDM and communicate progress. •Report to the divisional director on matters relating to training needs - personnel performances / effectiveness and disciplinary matters if appropriate. •Achieve personal sales and marketing targets •Visit colleagues as appropriate and agreed. •Attend sales / management meetings as required •Co-ordinate results information and establish methods of ensuring notification of success. Verify validity of claims. •Be prepared to assist in presentation to major opportunities and to assist at exhibitions. •Manage the tele-marketing facility in relation to cleaning, petty cash, stationery, Health and Safety, security, etc. •Generally assist wherever required to do so. Standards: •Ensure that Company property is maintained at the highest level and faults and defects are promptly reported. •Make all members of staff aware of their obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act. •Encourage a clean desk policy. General: •The above is not an exhaustive list of your duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as become necessary towards achieving the overall business objectives of the organisation. •You need to be aware the Company has a total ‘no smoking’ policy and if you wish to smoke you may find the opportunity restricted either on Company premises, vehicles used in the business or client locations. Hours of Work: Variable and as required to carry out the duties of the position, standard hours 9.00-5.30. Minimum 37.5 hours per week. |
