Our Client has over recent years established itself as one of the market leader in debt recovery. Since it’s inception it has remained at the forefront of technology and has provided quality advice on all matters by members of staff who, collectively have over 100 years experience.

They offer the complete debt recovery service incorporating pre-legal, trace and legal solutions, which give their clients total flexibility.

Currently they are looking to employ a Legal Recoveries Executive

Key Tasks:

Responsible for the day-to-day processing of your own legal debt recovery caseload.
Working as part of a team, undertaking work for both key clients and smaller clients in their entirety
Acting on and responding to incoming post from debtors, third party solicitors, court and clients
Making and receiving telephone calls to debtors, third party solicitors and clients about the cases, and negotiating with debtors on behalf of the clients to achieve the quickest and best level of recovery.
Making strategic legal decisions to effect a successful recovery on behalf of the client.
Using a fully automated debt recovery software and then progressing the cases through the workbox environment utilised by this software.
Reporting in to the Team Leader you will form an integral part of a highly motivated and very successful debt recovery department.

The Person Specification

An ability to work on your own initiative whilst being a team player is essential.
A background in a collections environment or a legal environment would be advantageous but not essential.
At least 2 years Legal experience working in debt litigation and enforcement
Experience of dealing with debtors is a must for this role.
IT Literate
Excellent communication skills
Excellent organisational skills
You will have a good standard of education preferably up to A Level but with a minimum of GCSE English and Maths at Grade B or above. Salaries are dependant upon experience criteria specified but will fall between £15 - £20k
