    Administration Manager

    £17-19K depending on experience

    My client is a leading manufacturer on the outskirts of Leeds.

    They are looking for an experienced, motivated and well organised individual to manage their small team of office administrators and ensure that a high standard of general administration support is provided to all levels within the business including Directors & Senior Management.

    This is a hands on role for an individual who is highly proficient in all Microsoft applications, with excellent typing skills, experience of minute taking and attention to detail. Professionalism and good time management are essential criteria for this exciting opportunity, as is experience of delegating work and coaching others.

    Experience of managing a reception service and/or company stationery resources would be advantageous.

    You will be responsible for the running of the general office and the smooth progression of general company paperwork.

    Responsible for the smooth running of the company’s computerised telephone system. React quickly to any
    faults that may occur.

    Control the work load of the receptionist and general office administrators and ensure their work is carried out in a satisfactory manner.

    Develop the staff under your control in general office practice providing guidance and coaching where necessary.

    Prioritise and word process directors letters, reports and memos in the absence of the PA.

    Responsible for general administration support service provided to all functions within the business.

    Prepare admin for new salaried employees joining the company.

    Take minutes at meetings when required and prepare and distribute minutes for meetings to the relevant timescales.

    Responsible for the company stationery stock levels.

    Relief work as required on the switchboard and reception area.

    Ensure that the general office area, reception, showroom and training room are maintained to a high standard at all times.

    Ensure that general office machines are maintained and any breakdowns are dealt with as soon as possible.
