Adviser Support: Job Details
This role is for a National Company to support their Financial Advisers within their Financial Planning sector of the company.
The role is to to provide pre and post sales support to the Financial Adviser while ensuring that all new business documentation is accurate and processed within required time scales as defined by the firm.

Role Content:
1. Obtain information and quotations required by Financial Advisers to enable them to research the clients needs prior to recommendations, as and when required
2. Process new business from submission to completion
3. Inputting and maintaining information on the firms IT systems including the 1st software and data base
4. Dealing with client queries (non-advice issues)
5. Liaising with Financial Advisers and working with them closely to understand clients, work loads etc.
6. Preparing valuations and reports
7. Preparing renewal information
8. To deal with any incoming telephone calls relating to above duties
9. Take messages for other Team members
10. Liaise with Senior Adviser Support to ensure above duties are carried out
11. Keep Financial Advisers up to date with relevant information relating to above duties
The role is suitable for an experienced Adviser Support Administrator with experience in the Financial Services Industry while preferably holding the FPC 1 & 2 or equivalent.

Core Skills/Knowledge
1. Computer/Keyboard skills essential
2. Experience of data base inputting
3. Experience of Microsoft Word & Excel
4. Good Administration skills
5. Experience of working within a team
6. Show initiative and common sense
7. Applicant should have working knowledge of Financial Services terminology and products.
8. Must be well organised and self motivated
9. Logical thinker.
10. Must be able to prioritise work to ensure jobs are carried out as quickly and efficiently as possible.
11. Must have a willingness to learn and assist in developing the processes.
12. Must have good communication skills internally with colleagues and superiors and externally with clients, insurance companies etc.
13. Will need to keep abreast of changes within the firms processes in line with industry changes, this includes a willingness to accept ongoing training and development including maintaining competence.
14. Meet individual objectives as set from time to time by your line manager, usually at the beginning of the year and subsequently reviewed at appraisal.

Salary is between £18K and £20 all dependent on experience
