Marketing & Internal Communications Officer

£8 to £9 per hour

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an individual looking for work within the marketing arena. My Client is looking for a task and target driven individual who can take their establishment to the next level.

Overall purpose of the role

• To ensure interim marketing support is given as needed to the colleges to make sure during the merger transition period they maintain the strongest possible recruiting position
• To support a successful harmonisation process by working alongside both Marketing & Communications Departments to assist bringing current good marketing & communications practice together, with a view to facilitating a ‘culture of change’ across the body of the new organisation.

The role will include:

• Internal Communications: establish a common level of communication via common channels to move the colleges towards the creation of one new corporate voice by establishing a framework of communication practice that will be maintained and carried forward, with a view to reaching a position of stability and trust as soon as possible

• Event Management: enhance Public Relations by supporting the delivery of a quality programme of events to re-enforce a message of strength for the colleges, with a view to increasing market confidence and subsequent enrolments to the new institution; and consider any opportunities for event harmonisation post-merger

• Marketing Support: to support the work of both Marketing Teams as needed, with a view to exploiting all opportunities to maximise immediate and future enrolments and safeguard recruitment

The successful candidate will have previous experience in internal communications or marketing.
