CUSTOMER SERVICE ADMINISTRATOR

A vacancy has arisen for the position of Customer Service Administrator in Personal Lines. Working as part of a team, you will provide a helpdesk to handle client queries and provide administrative support to achieve the targets and objectives of the unit. We need highly skilled communicators who can speak to people of all levels. You should also be extremely well organised and able to prioritise and plan your workload. Reporting to the Unit Manager your duties will include:

•Dealing with internal and external telephone calls to resolve problems and queries effectively and speedily

•Dealing with initial client complaints and ensuring that these are referred to the Compliance Officer in line with the company’s Complaints Procedures

•Dealing with daily post and updating the daily call diary

•Preparing quotations, invoices, documentation and market surveys

•Liaison with insurers to give and receive information

•Liaison with the client and insurers regarding claims queries

•Processing new business and dealing with membership changes

•Monitoring payments, processing underwriting terms and issuing policy documentation

•Making mid-term service calls to clients to ensure their satisfaction with ourselves and the insurer

•Assisting the Unit Manager with the preparation of statistics and reports


The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and attributes:

•Preferably have 2 years experience in a customer services environment
•Possess excellent communication skills, demonstrating patience and empathy
•Have a professional attitude, good organisational skills and able to use own initiative
