| We need outgoing and professional characters for a busy and varied sales/account management role at our friendly offices in LS12. Ideally you will have a background in IT sales and a knowledge of foreign languages. Successful applicants can expect a basic salary of around £18000 and an uncapped bonus of £25000 plus Channel Sales Team member The company indirect channel cares for over 400 partners in 60 countries. There is a requirement for a channel sales team member to assist the Channel Manager in continuing the excellent growth and consolidating this route to market. Summary The successful Channel Sales Team Member will effectively drive business for the company through the indirect channel. This includes building and managing a qualified pipeline of opportunities, and working with outside representatives and channel partners. This position requires outbound calling, following up on inbound leads, qualification, quoting and closing of business. Additionally, partner administration will be required involving resolution of accounting issues, planning marketing reports etc. Knowledge of foreign languages would be an advantage, as would knowledge of European countries and the USA. Essential Functions • Effectively communicate the benefits and value of company solutions to Channel Partners and their customers • Interface with Channel Partners and their customers via telephone and email to provide assistance and close business • Develop new business leads through various means, including qualifying leads, passing leads to partners, preparing quotes, chasing feedback • Provide product literature, evaluation software, lead referrals to channel and follow up for closure • Generate weekly reports and forecasts for all in-progress and closed business • Achieve/exceed quota targets • Other duties as assigned Qualifications • 3+ years selling software to businesses preferable • Strong telephone and business communication skills • Proof of consistently over achieving targets • Strong consultative selling, time management and organization skills • Ability to close business while achieving a high level of customer satisfaction • Ability to maintain a high outbound call volume • College degree in business or equivalent professional experience |
