West Yorkshire £20K to £25k Basic + Benefits (Including Pension and Health Scheme) Our client is a well established, expanding and profitable business with a proven track record of developing and delivering leading-edge fibre management solutions, designed to improve network resilience and speed of communications. The quality of its Cabling Systems and Fibre products combined with tried and tested Installation, Maintenance and Support services have led to an enviable portfolio of major Corporate Clients spanning a broad range of industry sectors including Financial Services, Telecoms, Defence and Petrochemicals. Due to further expansion, a Project Support Coordinator is required to join the Project team based at the UK Head Office in West Yorkshire. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will support the installation teams and liaise with colleagues in the Project and Logistics Teams to plan and coordinate labour, materials and documentation thus ensuring that installation projects are delivered to schedule and specification. Additionally you will be responsible for tracking projects throughout their life cycle and ensuring all documentation is maintained correctly. In addition, this pivotal role will necessitate frequent liaison with customers and contractors, and have a strong focus on continual improvement. Suitable candidates will be confident and enthusiastic and able to demonstrate: • A reasonable standard of formal education (GCSE as a minimum) • Experience of project support/management in an appropriate industry, including IT, data centre, data handling, telecoms, structured cabling or infrastructure; • Experience of resource management and scheduling; • Experience of working on a project throughout the whole of its life cycle, from planning to delivery; • Excellent organisation, communication and reporting skills, including project management tools; • Confidence in communicating with internal and external contacts at all levels. Prince 2 knowledge/qualification would be beneficial but is not essential. There are excellent career progression and personal development opportunities for the successful candidate.
