Work is sourced mainly on recommendation or repeated business from Architects, Chartered Surveyors and Quantity Surveyors. Contracts undertaken range from Traditional Contacts and Design and Build Contracts, Residential Apartments, Factories and Warehouses, together with a wide range of refurbishment Contracts

Salary: £30K - £45K dependant upon experience. An excellent salary and benefits package will be provided for a suitable applicant, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

We are currently looking to recruit a new enthusiastic, and self motivated Estimator/Quantity Surveyor to take over this position within our Company.
The Company has now been in business for over 2O years and although the successful applicant will be directly responsible to the Managing Director, they will be part of a young Management team, which it is intended will take the Company forward, where if suitable, they will be given the opportunity to progress within the Company.

The applicant will be responsible for all aspects of Estimating/ Quantity Surveying, taking Contracts from Tender to completion and Final Account, including the following.

  • Procuring new Contracts.


  • Estimating/Tendering for new Contracts.


  • Dealing with Contract documentation.


  • Liaising with Architects/ Clients regarding Contract and design details.


  • Attendance on site for meetings with Sub-contractors and Clients.


  • Purchasing for acquired Contracts.


  • Appointment of Sub-contractors and Management of their valuations/Accounts.


  • Cost Budgeting.


  • Development of new management procedures.



  • The applicant should be computer literate and should have a good knowledge of Building Regulations and Construction details.
